Cafe at the end of the Universe / Re: Just Chat...

I passed my science course with flying colours ;D I got nearly 100% in the physics and astrophysics section *collapse*. Which is a relief considering I breath astrophysics, failing it would have been awkward indeed :P

This is great news. Well done! :)

Oh and spammer gone, had net problem at work, so could only just sort ;)
:-* Thanks for getting rid of the spammer.
what spammer? ???

No redshift for second galaxy... Looks like an "almost overlap"

i would love to work with galaxy zoo! think you can wait till i get a PhD in.... anything? :P
as for the LIST "projects" they're (new?) purpose was to organize the out-of-numerical-order NGC catalogue, expanded into messier and will eventually expand to other catalogues as well.... only a matter of participants. :) ;)

Can't say for other countries, of course, but I dare say tens of millions of millions of Americans come within a hand's breadth of one of these every day, whether they know it or not. ;)

Found a galaxy that kinda looks like a face, not sure how to link it..
http://www.galaxyzoo.org/#/examine/AGZ0004r2n
hope that works :)

Here is your picture

Welcome to the Zoo and happy hunting !

Used to be the "AHZ" reference was good enough for us, but when they changed to the AGZ's with the # in the URL, many of us with older browsers were shut out.

Looks like an interesting object.  Hard to say what it is, IMO.  But I think it could be considered an LSB, low surface brightness, galaxy.
quite possibly a psuedoringed galaxy (go ahead click the link ;) )

It looks nothing like a turkey leg- get real; much more like the broken hulk of Enterprise in the delta quadrant.
:D :D :D
