I would have labled that one as a spiral On Edge/Unclear.

I thought perhaps this galaxy might classify as a gorgeous elliptical. It has the haze of stars that define it as elliptical, but also a pair of concentric dust rings that give it some charm.



Correct me if it belongs in another category than elliptical. It is object ID #587736584961916937.

I would classify that as an anticlockwise spiral with a very bright halo.

I don't know whether this counts as an elliptical or irregular, but it's very pretty.  Galaxy Ref: 588017603611262988, but you have to zoom way out to see it.

UPDATE: I moved the picture to the blues thread, where it really belongs.  It looks like it might become an elliptical, but it's not there yet.

I'd go with irregular on that one. Especially given the frantic star formation.
