Are the green spheres around this galaxy "peas"?  There a a lot of green spheres and also a lot of blue, purple and red happenings all around the edge. Any idea of what is going on here? Thanks for any help.

Unfortunately, the objects that you have pointed out are not green Peas, but are an effect of pictures seen from the
'Stripe 82' set of pictures. This blog entry and thread can explain it better than I can, but the greeness comes from pixelisation
and photographic artifacts etc.

Please find attached in pdf a mosaic of  the 80 starburst Peas that were analyzed in the Peas Cardamone's paper

Green Bean just doesn't have the same ring as Pea to me, but hey...what can you do?
