Have you tried Flikr ?  More than 11,000 photographs on the 'astrophotography' tag.  I posted some galaxies from the 'zoo': I've no pictures of my own apart from some of an eclipse that I will be posting later.

A basic account costs nothing, and pictures are never deleted.

Really a great thank you ! I saw the 2 moons and I think that the black point is the shadow of a third one.

I also have a Flikr account and highly recommend the site. I find it contains fewer obtrusive adverts than some other photo sharing sites. Just my opinion though!

Here's some pictures of the moon that I played with on the PC (wallpaper size)
If you thought that 111 plus 1 was 112, then you don't understand binary.

Wonderful pictures - thanks! 8)

Did you say in chat that the blue and green bits are the real colour we don't see because we're blinded by the Moon's glare? Why is the Moon's surface partly green and blue?

Atmospheric pylon courtesy of the National Grid...
It's basically a cheat! A composite of 3 photos taken at 12.45 on the morning of June 21 last year. Details for the interested are:
1. Main photo 0.8 seconds at f4
2. Moon 1/160th at f5.6
3. Jupiter and moons 1.3seconds at f5.6
All ISO 1600
4. Stitched and tweaked in Photoshop.

Jupiter's main moons are visible left to right - Ganymede, Io, Europa and Callisto.

So true! It often looks a bit blue but you never know if that's it or the effects of our own atmosphere or what.

If the Sky is Clear enough later on I will Snap a few more of the next Phase of the Moon ans see if i can get as great a result as last Nights amazing Photo!

If I can get upearly enough i may even try and Snap Saturn but with the Rings Edge on it will not be a very Special Image.
