Thought it might be useful for all you enthusiastic newbies to have a list of non-galaxy objects that you might come across and be tempted to post because of their “wow” factor. As most of them are likely to have been posted before it will be worth searching for them first by entering the ObjID into the search box on the top right of the home page.
It's understandable wanting to share an amazing find - and it's nice for us "oldies" to be reminded of them - so if you come across something amazing - search for it first and then you can post a link to the original post rather then re-post the picture every time. If it doesn't appear to have been posted before - then post the picture and share the moment!
