You'll have noticed a lot of requests to "please post the reference number" for images you post. This is so that we can look up the galaxy in more detail.
You can find it by going into "My Galaxies", after you've classified the galaxy. (Obviously, if you haven't classified it, you won't be able to give it - but you can always post it later.) It is the number with "SDSS" in front of it, right underneath the galaxy, circled in yellow.

this page. Have a play around to see what you can find! Hints: click on the little square photo, and try navigating around by clicking the blue borders of the image. Or click on "more data" at the top left.

http://s3.amazonaws.com/zoo2/44079.jpg, or any bits of it such as 44079, will only show you the picture - it won't take us to the telescope pages. That's because we have to classify the image first, rather than let the SDSS data bias our results. More on that
