Where in the world ?

This is a bit like 'guess the object' except you have to guess the place instead - can be just the country or the area / city / landmark etc.
Specific detail required for the winning answer is at the poster's discretion  ;D ;D

Bolton Abbey, which (ah sad twist of fate) is not in Bolton, Lancs but in Yorkshire.....?

Aida if we are where I think we are, the view you have is on a path beside a wade-able stream and in the foreground are weather-exposed tree roots in a verge beyond which are verdant pastures leading up to the Abbey grounds. It's quite a distance, the Abbey is enormous!!

No idea...looks neat though weezerd.  The Abbey looks pretty peaceful too...I just hope I can spend a night there without seeing any ghosts, or if they're friendly, then I can spend a night out looking at the stars and chatting with the past.

Well if you went to Bolton Abbey you certainly would spend a night under the stars, as AFAICR there are no covered buildings in the vicinity at all!

Yes, there is a roof.  It's called Heaven and, as in a teenager's room, the cealing is painted with stars, planets, and moons.
