Merger Wars?

I was poking around the Zooniverse space, and I found an alternate version of the Mergers site, at http://mergersbeta.galaxyzoo.org/ instead of http://mergers.galaxyzoo.org/.  It's got the original merger target, but also a feature I've never seen before, Merger Wars, where you can compare the fitness of two simulations of the target galaxy.  Is this a new thing, or something older that I missed that never made it past beta? 

There are some pretty accurate sims in the samples, but some I think people just clicked on because they looked awesome.    If only it had actually turned out that way, it would be a pretty crazy thing to see in a telescope..

As usual I was about to give up when I hit that match.  Unfortunately I was test driving the Beta so it probably won't count for anything.

And, since it was the Beta the enhance functions were completely missing.   I wanted to see the new Merger Wars function but my Linux firefox crashed before I got that far.

Ah, computers.
