Similar problem. Can't login on android application after I changed my password. Get a message "An uknown error occured when validating your username and password. Please try again in 1-2 minutes".
Please help!

Is there something wrong ? I can login to the forum but can't login with galaxy zoo. Keep getting a:

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, [no address given] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Apache Server at login.zooniverse.org Port 80
 :'(

It's not just Hubble Zoo, lot's of sites are down.

This was tweeted :
Apologies, our web host is having major issues right now so lots of our sites are down. (2h)
Our database server with our user accounts is still inaccessible (don't worry, we have backups) so we're missing login still. (11min)

But some projects are still working (SETI, Mergers, ...)

Not sure if this has been resolved - just installed the Galaxy Zoo app on my Android OS phone and kept having this same message  "An unknown error occurred when validating your username and password. Please try again in 1-2 minutes".

I have first been trying 16 hours ago several times. Changed the password as well. Can log via the web but not via the application.

I have been trying to find info about this issue online - there is several report of the error but I didn't find a solution. Anyone have an idea ?
