I downloaded the 24" x 36" 137Mb poster file, but somehow, I don't think my printer can cope with it! l'll go to the printers tomorrow to get a price. It's a big poster though...

Just delivered the 137MB(!) file to Bristol University Print Services (nearby me), so the full-size poster should be with me tomorrow! By using the University's printing facilities, any profit goes back to them. Their prices are 50% lower than some printers have quoted me. Anyway, I will produce a photo of it tomorrow. Exciting!

Nice!!! An amazing piece of creativity with a lot of work required. Blue cats, scientific explanations, historical contexts and genuine enthusiasm. Very cool...Congratulations! Having a whole comic devoted to something you have helped discover: wow! (I'm slightly jealous, but I may not be the only one).

This is the link for the .pdf file (34MB). Looking forward to the hard copy though!

The UStream video of the webcomic launch event can be replayed here. We apologize for the quality - the video camera broke down just beforehand and this was all captured with the built-in camera on a laptop. I wasn't sure where it was during the event, so please ignore me when I briefly stand in front of the camera taking pictures.

I got an envelope yesterday from a class of 8-year-olds in a Birmingham school (the westerly one, not the one in the UK). They saw a newspaper article and browsed the webcomic and Zoo sites. (After all that, I can't ignore their teacher's request for a class visit!) Each student sent a note - this picture shows some of their illustrations. Green blobs of the Universe, unite!

Sure. I may want to finish that next couple of paragraphs on the Hubble paper first...
