Here's a new topic for all those creative zooites out there - no rules - just post an original limerick preferably with a celestial flavour. Here's one to start ........

A galaxy photographed by Hubble
Was causing zooites a great deal of trouble
For one little cluster
Was all it could muster
And that seemed to be in a bubble

An Internet surfer at Crewe
Found a programme called Galaxy Zoo
He classified rings
And all manners of things
And got addicted and into a stew!

An astronaut flew up to the moon
Humming a bright little tune
He was looking for cheese
But found only fleas
So came down to earth quite soon

Some mad Zooites have gone on the tea
And classified until they cannot see!
So they come to the caff
For a chat and a laff
And write crazy poems merrily.

Ha ha Good one Alice. I wish I was that creative. Maybe another day, I have my moments. Usually unannounced moments.

All Zooites are fond of a treat
They like to discuss things to eat
From the moment they wake
They're on chocolate and cake
And Rooibos whenever they meet

That looked like it would turn out just fine
Though with no meaningful result
The Zookeepers shouted halt! (nearly rhymes )
And the painting was stopped just in time

With multi-kilometer girth
Was blown from the sky
By a spacemine (first try)
And bits of it landed near Perth.

Is rather an odd thing to see:
It's blue, green or red
(Depending on Zed)
And hazier still than a Pea!
