I found "Why does E=mc2" quite incomprehensible :(
if you dont understand why its there, its because in one episode they go through the equation and explain it.

Have you read the book? It's the book I'm talking about.

OXFORD 28 APRIL 2012
While some stayed at home with their feet up,
Two dozen attended the meet-up;
Our physics updated,
We left, quite elated,
But Oxford, next year, turn the heat up!
;D ;D ;D ;D
Quality!

Do you irregulars too?

Go out and point your camera up!

Any life on those Jovian moons,
If it somehow could read our runes,
Would be troubled, for sure,
But perhaps stay secure,
Wrapped up in its ice cocoons?

On Crete (as I'm sure you recall)
The Minotaur held them in thrall,
But, to judge from a fossil humerus,
The mammoths, though not innumerous,
At three-foot were no threat at all!

One day, should a curious llama
Stray into the high Atacama,
It would spy (we may hope)
This immense telescope
Observing the cosmic drama.

The telescope names imply bigger and bigger.

They lasted until something like 4-5,000 years ago on Wrangel Island, IIRC.  But likewise, island evolution favored small ones, 4-5'

An unconfirmed boson, called Higgs,
Used to sulk all day long in his digs;
Though it's not yet heretical
To call him hypothetical,
It seems he's at CERN, doing gigs :-\.

Yes!   :)

You have probably been polishing that one for several years, waiting for the announcement.

Years? No. Months? Yes ;D.

An earlier version (same rhyme scheme) had assumed proof that the discovery had all the predicted properties of the Higgs, so I had to adjust it to the current situation, where they've definitely found a new particle, but perhaps not what was expected.

Today I did no light-curve notching
Nor any 'false positive' scotching;
Did I move from the telly?
No, not on your nelly!
This star, now eclipsed, was worth watching :(.

A fat man from the North Pole,
Busy searching for massive black holes
Almost forgot Christmas Eve
And with a great heave,
Rushed to deliver toys, goodies,and coal.
