main galaxy at 0.046 - not sure if the blue area is connected - there also seems to be a frame division there  :-\

Not tne star, to the left of it is what looks like AGN and companion galaxy

NED doesnt find the galaxy

ID: AHZ2001kir

Lower right is a Seyfert 1 at z=0.100 - unfortunately no spectrum on the large galaxy - I hope it's a companion - or at least a friend  :D

DR7: http://skyserver.sdss.org/dr7/en/tools/explore/obj.asp?id=587734893820444740
DR8: http://skyserver.sdss3.org/dr8/en/tools/explore/obj.asp?id=1237671932283322446
UGC 06081

There seem to be a Voorwerpje. (I posted it also in the "Voorwerpje thread" today.)
The small galaxy has a spectrum in SDSS: DR8 says "QSO AGN Broadline"
For both there are given redshifts in NED:
UGC 06081                      11h00m19.2s +10d02m50s GPair   10786  0.035978
UGC 06081 NED02           11h00m19.1s +10d02m51s G         10791  0.035995
UGC 06081 NED01           11h00m18.0s +10d02m57s G         10791  0.035995

NED Note:

Re:UGC 06081
UGC 06081a is the principal contributor, but UGC 06081b is also a radio source (Condon et al. 1991b).

From the latest batch: this has been especially fruitful, with 3 good new candidates.

587739827134464054 is a winner - Seyfert 1 with strong broad lines and a big companion that's projected close and facing the Seyfert.

587742575377711143 is also good - a Seyfert 2 nucleus in the small galaxy and spiral next door.

1237671932283322446 is another nice one - a reddened Seyfert 2 facing a big spiral at  z=0.036. (It's not clear from NED that there is a separate redshift measurement for the companion, but they show strong interaction so it's a safe bet that they match).

588017604146823387 showed up in the last bunch by the companion ID ending in 6, and is a good prospect.

There were a couple of dual-starburst systems:
587739377227268721
587731173306008403

HSTZoo objects will generally be too distant to get higher-resolution images, since we have some low-z SDSS targets available.

By the way, it looks as if the proper SDSS Explorer syntax has just changed, or maybe pointers to an outdated style quit working - as of
today, http://cas.sdss.org/astro/en/tools/explore/obj.asp?id=587739377227268721 works while http://cas.sdss.org/dr7/en/tools/explore/obj.asp?id=587739377227268722 does not. I had a moment of panic before verifying that the link form Anna Manning set up in the JavaScript overlap catalog still works.

z = 0.097 on the bluer obj bottom right - nothing on the other one
