Would it be fair to conclude that "No" is a reasonably accurate, one word answer to the question?

Probably "No" is the right answer, as most projects tail off into a Bell curve, though some projects such as GZ and the recent Andromeda one have a rapid burst of activity and don't last for a long time.  Would be interesting to see a list of the current active numbers.

Probably all projects should have equal billing, or are some projects of more scientific interest/use than others?
