The most redshifted OIII so far! From jlowe in the QSRO thread:

Pale yellow, even though it's in the green range. Maybe the elevated baseline and somewhat wide base to the H-alpha peak are related. Or maybe not. Either way, posted by jlowe in the QSRO thread: http://www.galaxyzooforum.org/index.php?topic=3874.msg76808#msg76808

WOW Gob smacked by peas
587739505541578866

This Graph is smack in the middle of the blue galaxy

This graph is from the top of the blue

This graph is from the bottom of the blue

Now this one is out of the outer of the spiral nearly the same as the middle of the blue

I went into the sdss tool, clicked on objects with spectra,Then hit Navi. Re centred on the blue Galaxy.Hit the explore button.
There are three spectra indicators two are identical separated from one end of the galaxy to the other. The curious thing to me is when you compare the spectra from the middle of the blue galaxy it near matches the spectra from the outer spectra on the spiral galaxy.
Maybe the machine got it wrong?
I cant see any background objects that may be coming through
Take a look guys see if you can make sense of it. Or if it tells us any stories on how these are made
Ps if you want me to delete a few graphs just ask

These are star-forming areas of the galaxies shown, whereas an OIII "Pea" is the core of a galaxy. They're all highly active areas, but the outer arms where these measurements were taken would likely not show up at a greater distance, while a "Pea" core would. Quasars are cores that are even more bright and can be detected even further away.
For a galaxy to be counted as an "OIII", the peak at OIII has to be taller than any other peak. Also, the stronger the curve at the left side of the chart (blueward), the more likely the target is "just" a normal Seyfert Type 2 or a star-forming area. The blue "Peas" do tend to have some curve there, so it's not an absolute. Quasars and OIII's and Seyferts have similar charts the nearer we are to them.

Somewhat of a jumbled chart, but the distant ones seem to be.

quarkspin got another one! http://www.galaxyzooforum.org/index.php?topic=3874.msg68916#msg68916
Not fully green, but the left side of the chart is raised, which may explain it.
