Hi GHI ;D

No such thing as asking dumb questions! And to tell you the truth, my initial 'standard' was: it's a small, green blob, so it looks like a pea.. :D Then all of the sudden there was this discussion about spectra, which I didn't understand and now I don't know what the 'definition' of peas is actually :) but you can still post ones you think look like peas ;D

Cheers ;)

No spectral chart, but I think this is a great candidate....

Red and not round, but quoth Arralen:

Yes, I think it's a pea .. those look green @ z=0.2..0.3 but turn into other colours at different z values
Not surprisingly, because they emit light mostly in those OIII emission line. We see the galaxy in that colour those emission lines are shifted to by redshift ("z") .. and 0.5 is quite a bit (1.5x longer wavelength).

Ah yes, Rick Nowell, but SDSS cannot be trusted!
When I've seen stars that green before, there are usually lots of green color effects in the area, which I don't see here. I'm not saying it's definitely a pea, but I am saying I need to build a spectrum-grabbing telescope.

I think this a "close pea", but the O II spike is right at the edge of the spectral chart, so I'm not sure.

A pea! A pea! Green, galaxy ID, correct spectral chart, and not posted before!
PEA!  PEA!  PEA!  PEA!  PEA!

Thanks so much, Hanny. About %*!@$!!-ing time!
I know there must be a few people on here that have an idea how many blue stars and spectrum-less green things I looked at before I found that one!
Good news everyone!
