How/why did you already put my latest find on a list without posting it first, Rick? I did a search.
Or, if you did post it, what page is it on? I just searched again, and only my post comes up.
Apparently the SHOC catalog has a lot in it, but adding them to your list without telling anyone is very mysterious.

There are a good few that haven't been posted. Well done for checking first; it sets an example

Nothing is obligatory, but when your list is all posted objects and then you add unposted ones to it, how is anyone supposed to know? As I said, I searched first, and then again after I read your post. For whatever reason, search engines seem to do much better finding things in individual posts rather than one string of numbers amongst many.

Once again, the comprehensive list of all OIII galaxies found on SDSS has outgrown its boundaries, thanks to all the efforts of the Pea-hunters out there. I'm reposting it here in four parts that will hopefully last a little longer. The breaks at which the parts were divided were arbitrary.
Definition of an OIII "Pea" here.

Caveats: 1. Color is my opinion of what I see on SDSS; no offense to anyone whose pea I called "Pale"!
             2. A lot of cut-and-pasting was involved; don't use this in a thesis or something without confirming.
             3. Noteworthy things might not have been noted.
             4. Values for the OIII peaks were eyeballed from the spectral charts and are not exact.

Hi Starry - Following on from our discussion of spectra/images, I've been looking into this a bit deeper.
It appears that you were correct in that a red colour showing on the screen is from an image taken with a filter which covers the range 7000 to 8500 angstroms; ie the near infra-red.
More interestingly for you, in connection with peas, is that an image which shows as "green" on the screen, is from a filter with a range of 5500 - 7000 angstroms, which is actually red in reality. So your green peas are actually red peas !!
