I think you mean: "It's on the tip of my tongue" - but let's please keep this thread specially for its topic; that's why it's a "sticky" one.

BBC4 Uk

Mon 26 Nov, 8:00 pm-9:00 pm

The Comet's Tale
Ancient civilisations thought they were Gods. They believed them to be bringers of life or harbingers of doom - these strange, magical, mysterious things that moved through the sky, fiery streaks of light that tore across the heavens. This documentary shows how our ancestors may have been right all along and that comets and meteors really are like Gods.

Hey! I just went onto the BBC Sky at Night page and found that they've put up two special episodes - one about the Perseids, one about satellites, astronauts and space debris. I've just watched the former and it was cool; now about to watch the latter. Hadn't been expecting any more episodes until January. Nice late Christmas prezzie! Thanks!  ;D

Right now, I'm watching "The Universe: The Milky Way", on the History Channel....I love this series, but this episode is especially meaningful to me now that I know a litle bit more about types of galaxies.

I even learned that there are stars in the Milky Way that are 12-13 billion years old...almost as old as the Universe is thought to be; I had no idea!

Tonight on UK BBC2

Horizon
Tue 29 Jan, 9:00 pm - 9:50 pm  50mins
Website: http://www.bbc.co.uk/horizon/
What on Earth is Wrong with Gravity?

Particle physicist and ex D:Ream keyboard player Dr Brian Cox wants to know why the Universe is built the way it is. He believes the answers lie in the force of gravity. But Newton thought gravity was powered by God, and even Einstein failed to completely solve it.

Heading out with his film crew on a road trip across the USA, Brian fires lasers at the moon in Texas, goes mad in the desert in Arizona, encounters the bending of space and time at a maximum security military base, tries to detect ripples in our reality in the swamps of Louisiana and searches for hidden dimensions just outside Chicago.

Yep, fraid so the BBC iplayer only works from UK domains. Which is a pity as it was a great show and he is an engaging presenter ;)
