If I might offer up a suggestion?  There have been many posts to the Train Wrecks sticky that are not in fact mergers.  Mining that thread will probably turn up a number of projections/superpositions.

That's actually how I started - but then got worried about the ones that people reject before posting for showing no evidence of merging.

Edit after catching up with thread so far - over half of the ones posted here have not shown up in other threads, as far as I can tell. Cool.

I made the following checklist and attached it to the GZ montage provided (see attached jpeg). I keep the montage/checklist running in a background viewer so I can pull it up when I have questions. Maybe 'NGC3314' could create his own for us, or he can message me the desired text and I'll regenerate this one :) :) ;)
