how is everyone?
Before and after practicing Judo or engaging in a match, opponents bow to each other. Bowing is an expression of gratitude and respect. In effect, you are thanking your opponent for giving you the opportunity to improve your technique.

29.3F... isn't that really cold? I'd be happy for 29.3 C, but thats below waters freezing point... (I may be wrong, I'm a Kelvin/Centigrade Guy)

AAAAHHH, yes.
32F water freezes
212F water boils
Yes, it's cold. But not that bad for Feb. The wind is very light to calm. We sometimes get winters with Canadian High Pressure systems with single digit temps and high winds.
We have had some unseasonably warm days where it got into the high 50's and even low
60's (F). that can be bad. Trees and plants start acting like spring is here and then get very badly damaged with the next hard freeze. There is a blueberry farm in the Northern part of the county that lost most of its crop last year.  :'(
(Have I mention that I really like blueberries.  ;D  :P think licking lips )

lol, i need a reference point to understand what you just said Garrett,  but its awfully cold over here in Bristol.

We get some funny weather swings (not as bad as for Alice down in Cornwall though) We get air blowing in either from the lovely Gulf Stream, making us warm like summer (I was about to wear a t-shirt a couple of weeks ago!) to today, where we had hard ground frost in the morning, and light to heavy mist in the morning if we get wind form the North Pole region

single digit e.g., 5F =  -15C

The Canadian Highs are cold air out of the arctic, guided by the Canadian Rockies Southeast.
It turns out Ohio, Indiana, and Illinois is an excellent place for them to meet low pressure system from the Gulf of Mexico.

For bad weather think this -15C with sustained winds of 20 to 30 mph with gusts in the mid 40's mph.

Yikes! 107F with Indiana's humidity, yuk!  I get 105-115 summers where I am, but it's dry desert, so bearable.  ::)

Sorry to intrude upon this diligently detailed discussion of exact temperatures, but I must show you something delighful I was given by a friend training to be a drama teacher: the Shakespeare Insult Kit. For further refinement, go thou here (and shift thine eyes to the bottom to take note of what number visitor thou art), and thou art like to be practised upon further here.

Thou art about to have quite a laugh - I can't wait to see what Infinity calls me first. ;)
