As we'll be meeting at 6pm, I'll bet the place Chris books for us (and from what I've seen and gathered of Chris, he has excellent taste and takes a lot of trouble for people, so it'll be a nice one) will have somewhere we can eat. That's not a certainty, but I would put it at very high probability.

I may well be sending out the "You've received this e-mail because you're coming to the post-Astrofest meet-up" tomorrow evening, or Saturday morning. (If you think you should have received it and you don't get it by Saturday night, nag me.) I like the idea of swapping phone numbers, but as you say, we'll do it "internally" - just in case, although the risk is low, we'd better not put out information like what our numbers are and where we're staying on the public domain.
Would be cool if those who arrive Friday evening can have their meet-up, I can help you get started organising it but I won't be there. I won't be arriving until about midnight. Friday evenings not only am I at school but there are usually meetings, and then it's quite a long way home, so I don't expect to even be on a train to London for a looooooooong time!
Incidentally, you can buy your lunch at Astrofest. Judging by last year, however, the queues are pretty long and we may be better off eating lunch elsewhere. I'll be stopping at a bakery and buying sandwiches on the way, I should imagine!
