SIMBAD has quite a few entries. It gives it three different "otyp"'s: 'Rad' which I think means a radio galaxy, 'IR' for infra-red, and '*iC' which is star in cluster.
It also calls it "NGC 2682"

Like the colour but still not sure exactly what it is.  :P

Edit: I just googled NGC 2682 and the first entry says that it is Messier 67 and is an open cluster. Much more info there.

Ccuuuuteee !! ... it's spectrum is very very very similar to those of Hannys green peas, but at very low "z". A very lucky find, because it's one of a handful of spectra taken in quite big area. (I wonder if someone at SDSS is hunting peas as well ;) ).
I'll have a closer look how similar it is ... maybe I should start making a catalogue ?!

Btw., open cluster Messier 67 (also known as M 67 or NGC 2682) means a cluster of stars, not that single object, which is a background galaxy !

IMHO. And I don't have a clue ...
